The set up is a little weird. But the service, food and drinks are amazing. The staff was super friendly and wanted to help every chance they got. Our food was quick and they were willing to cater to our allergies. Our drinks were well made and quick.

I went for coffee and croissant only, Price was very expensive. I asked for the croissant to be warmed up and they did not tell me they would put it in the microwave, what a disappointment. I do not mind paying when I feel well treated but this was not the case. I would never come back

We were just here for a week in Sidney and I was so happy to have this place close by! First off, the staff is just amazingly friendly and welcoming, which was awesome. The items I'd had here were the PUMPKIN Chai tea latte (yes pumpkin), and the Tomato Brie croissant. Both were absolutely wonderful. I had the tomato brie croissant twice. It had a garlic aioli that was out of this world. If we are back in Sidney again we will visit this coffee shop!

I loved going to this charming , busy little coffee house , but will never go again . Who wants a choice of 6 types of soup and only 2 pre wrapped sandwiches , empty walls , and a confusing layout. Someone let me know when it changes owners again. Anyone been to the new Bistro right nearby?

Great soups and sandwiches. Tasty. Sandwiches under $9 + tax Large soups 6.50I just wish the sandwiches were bigger! Yummm

If you go in after 12:30 or so, the soup is almost gone, and they don't seem to want to bother replenishing it. Go early and it's okay if you're in the mood for soup. Haven't tried the sandwiches.

Absolute must go in Sidney. The food is fabulous, staff is spectacular! Today I had the portobello shiitake mushroom soup, which was just delicious, and my usual smoothie that I call ahead for (I have a really short lunch break). All ingredients are listed for their daily soups and to go containers are all compostable. These guys are top notch in every way. Thank you so much for being here, love you guys!!!

Delicious hot and cold sandwiches, the best salad in town (packed with protein and flavour!). Also 5 soups every day, and a huge coffee menu made by very talented and experienced baristas. The recent renovations really opened up the atmosphere, and the paint freshened it up. There's also local faces in the staff, who are always pleasant and courteous. Not sure why reviews of late are bad, I heard lots of compliments when I was in.

I love soup I've had different kinds I like having a choice most places only have one maybe two kinds also chai làtte is delicious as well

I’ve been to many small cafes across this continent, this place gets 5 stars. Washrooms are clean. The menus are mouth watering and the food is excellent.Other cafes should take a page out this establishments book.

Great Americano!

The front counter is missing. Weird store layout. Maybe your trying to be hipster, but having your barista counter, where on one side is the ordering and the other side is pick-up is considered normal for a cafe..... Never have your back to the customers. What happened? Last time I visited your cafe it was normal.

Disappointing. I ordered off a menu thinking I was getting something prepared fresh for me. Once I ordered my breakfast bagel the lady took a package out of their fridge display and went to the back to "cook" it? The bagel was bland, the eggs were rubbery and watery, the bacon was super thin and barely cooked, the cheese didnt taste that great. I took 2 bites and was done. Waste of money and time.

Amazing food and service - very friendly owners. They went out of their way to suggest items, provide samples, and were all-around welcoming and accommodating. Recommend without hesitation!! Clean, quiet, and nicely situated in charming downtown Sidney. We look forward to returning during trips to the island in the future and we would prioritize stopping in here.

Excellent, we call in for a coffee in the morning and the staff are all friendly and courteous. A couple of weeks ago we noticed all those soups on offer and took a couple home for lunch. Both were superb and we have returned since. Keep up the good work Sidney needs something other than another coffee bar !

What a great place for lunch after a cold walk by the water! The soups are delicious and the customer service makes you feel like family. Definitely recommended if you’re in the neighborhood.

Excellent soup!! Had the mushroom soup and I wish I could have it every day. You can listen to the reviews from others complaining about the changes but if you want a fantastic soup, you can stop looking.

Superb salami panini...toss up between that or a prosciutto panini...which would also have been excellent. Also an awesome 4 shot 16oz Americano..Great friendly service...Highly recommended

Yummy soup!

A very welcoming place and always busy. Frequented by cyclists and locals this cafe is right on the corner and while there has always been seating available, it's nice to sit outside. Recently I had a pretty descent bowl of soup at Toast and was able to walk out the front door to snap a photo of my sister's plane flying over head. Recommend.

Healthy food, including vegan options! House salad is amazeballs and all the staff are very friendly. Will definitely visit again 👍🏻

Good coffee and sandwich!

Counter setup is funky, but the staff, drinks, and food are all good. Also, the wifi is better than some of the neighbouring coffee shops if you're looking to get some work done.

Its different. Not bad!.. But not my style of cafe. Can definitely tell they're trying to stand out in a unique and modernized way.... also the simple 16 0z. peppermint hot chocolate I had didn't taste like $5.25...
